Dr Ajay has over 28 years of experience in field of Endocrinology. Earlier he was associated with Dr RML Hospital as Sr. Endocrinologist and Head of deptt. He has been lecturer, examiner in various teaching institutes.

• External Examiner for DM (Endocrinology) exam at AIIMS, LLRM medical College Meerut
• DNB (Endocrinology) Appraiser SGRH hospital, Delhi
• Training on Endocrine assays and lab Techniques at National Institute of Nutrition for 6 weeks at Hyderabad.
• Training on radioimmunoassay at PGI, Chandigarh.
• Over 20 publications in Indian, foreign journals and books
• Attended number of conferences, seminars, workshops on Diabetes and Endocrine disorders. Have been speaker and Chairperson.
• Expert members for various government projects, Institutions, relating to Diabetes and endocrine disorders.
• Member of selection committee for recruiting doctors for posts in medicine and endocrinology in government Institutions.

Research Projects:

• Participated in the multi-centric Diabetes Asia Care study and carried out the evaluation of diabetes care at RML Hospital.
• Participated in the multi-centric study on evaluation of the anthropometric, biochemical and clinical profile of young type 2 Diabetic subjects. I carried out the evaluation of young type diabetes subject attending Dr RML Hospital.
• As principal investigator conducted the project for estimation of the burden of diabetes in India and submitted the data to World Health Organisation, South East Asia Region Office (SEARO).
