Dr Ashutosh has a rich experience of around 15 years in the field of Pediatric Cardiology. He received higher training at the prestigious Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne. After his return from Australia he joined as faculty at Narayana Hridayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences Bangalore, where he was actively involved in training of new Pediatric Cardiologists. He has carried out certain innovative interventions such as “Stenting of airway” for children with severe bronchomalacia, “Fenestrating the Fontan Circuit” for the first time at Fortis Escorts Heart Institute. He is actively involved community outreach program run by the hospital. Working with NGO’S like HCRA New Delhi (Handicapped Children’s Rehabilitation Association), and Lions Club Dar-E Salaam, Tanzania he has managed to help many underprivileged children with heart defects. Besides clinical work he is actively involved in training of new Paediatric Cardiology Fellows. He has many publications in national and international Journals.
